Founder, Cornerstone Financial Management
Jim founded Cornerstone Financial Management, the predecessor to Cornerstone Valuation, after a career spanning banking, accounting and commercial real estate, including roles at United Virginia Bank (now Truist) and Peat Marwick (now KPMG).
Over more than twenty years in finance and investments, he managed companies on an interim basis, guided acquisitions and dispositions, and performed valuations for company split-ups, mergers, estate and gift tax matters, partner admissions and family planning. He qualified as an expert witness in Virginia.
